Privacy
YvL Projects has drawn up this privacy statement to demonstrate that your privacy is taken
very seriously. The following sets out how YvL Projects handles personal information.
The statement applies to all products and services provided by me, including the associated
subdomains and the online learning environment Moodle.
Web Statistics
YvL Projects uses Matomo to track web statistics. Data collected is anonymised and never
leads to the identification of individuals. The statistics are stored on YvL Projects' hosted
server and are not accessible to outsiders and are not made public.
Data Security
YvL Projects uses security techniques to prevent loss, mutilation or any other compromise of
information. SSL (Secure Socket Layer) is used on the website and in Moodle. SSL is a generally
accepted technique applied on the internet for securing connections. SSL uses asymmetric
cryptography.
Online Learning Environment (Moodle)
Moodle can use cookies to recognise a student on a subsequent visit, for example. This is only
possible if the participant indicates that they want this; by default, this setting is disabled. The
Moodle electronic learning environment makes forums available to participants. All information
stored in those places is only visible to the trainer and any other participants.
Users of the online learning environment (Moodle) can view, modify or delete their data at any
time. They can do this from the user profile with the 'View or delete data' option.
Confidentiality
All data collected by YvL Projects, such as via web forms or in the electronic learning
environment Moodle, will be kept strictly confidential and will not be loaned, rented or sold, nor
made public in any other way. The purpose of YvL Projects registering personal data is to be
able to provide tailored services to customers and participants in training courses.
